Small Constant Current LED Driver, 1.7mA

Small 1.7mA constant current LED driver, designed to fit in N-Scale passenger cars, cabooses, etc. 
Input is 5 to 30 volts, AC, DC or DCC.  
Will  keep a white LED alive for about 1 second on loss of DCC power

Once I made the table mount products, a friend realized that the circuit worked as a constant lighting circuit. A quick redesign made this small enough to fit in an N-Scale passenger car or caboose. The big thing you give up is the mounting holes, and nice connectors to attach the input and the LEDs. Both types have identical functionality
